Amazing staff and experience for my family and I. Himmat was very friendly and helpful and provided lots of information prior to our booking. Scott and Himmat provided us with a great experience. I'd gotten in touch with Himmat at Vancouver Yacht Charters a few months ago about doing a surprise boat cruise for my parents' 20th wedding anniversary and to say that I was absolutely blown away by their service would be a huge understatement. I wish I had the words to describe just how in awe I am of how outstanding their work was and how kind Himmat, Scotty and the crew were.Everything from the decorations, to the food, to the hospitality and service was beyond incredible and the evening could not have been more perfect. Wow what a day we had with VYC. Aug 13 was a beautiful sunny day. We left Granville Island at 9am. It was breezy and the water choppy as we cruised amongst the freighters. What a neat experience , being up close and personal with those giants. A private breakfast buffet was enjoyed by us all , along with Himmets morning Caesars ! Once out in open waters Captain Scotty showed his experience in navigating against those large swells . This was a Burial at Sea for my husband . Once we arrived at our Langedale destination Captain Scotty helped disperse my husbands ashes into the ocean . Then the charter's deluxe buffet was served. It was super and the salmon was a huge hit. Definately opt for the salmon as it was a treat. Himmet kept the wine service going as we all enjoyed the buffet. Then we started back to port and even stronger waves . I know Captain Scotty worked for his money on this cruise. I must say Himmet kept us all satisfied with drinks and both him and the Captain were totally approachable through this longer than normal voyage, It was close to 7 hours by the time we docked back at Granville Island. I was impressed at how efficient and relaxed the cruise was. I would book another cruise although not as long !! Truly happy with the entire experience. What can I say these guys are the best! From beginning to end. We had a small intimate wedding on the boat in June and it was the best time and our guests loved it. Himmat and Scotty were a pleasure to deal with and accomadating to all our requests and the rest of the staff were excellent! The Royal Vancouver 1 was the most perfect venue we could have asked for! We had the wedding of our dreams here; we could not recommend them more. The staff was so attentive and helpful, they really went above and beyond for us. The food was also just AMAZING! Some of the best memories were had in this boat, all of our guests were raving. Captain Scotty and Himmat were just amazing to work with. They went "overboard" on helping us create the perfect day for my son & his new wife. There was no problem that they couldn't help us out with. The food was excellent & good choices for the meat eaters & vegetarians. They and their crew's service were outstanding. They were very attentive to our needs making our evening a wonderful event. I would highly recommend them for any kind of event on their yacht.

My father passed away in 2019, but due to COVID we were unable to scatter his ashes in English Bay as he had wished until August 2022. I was a bit unsure about how this process would work, or what the ceremony would in fact be like. I wanted it to be perfect, and had a thousand different worries. However, Vancouver Yacht Charters, along with our bagpiper and a great tip on Dahlias as one of the best floating flowers, made my Dad's send off absolutely perfect. These guys know what they are doing, and the boat was way more than enough for my group (about ten people).
Vancouver Yacht Charters are easy to contact, provide a professional service, and have extremely reasonable rates. Booking the charter was without complications. They were able to accommodate our desire for a simple charter for the purposes of delivering our father's ashes to the sea off Point Grey. We had an enjoyable burial at sea cruise on a calm and sunny day. Himmat and Scotty are friendly, respectful with just the right touch of humor. These guys are absolutely amazing!!! I had a beautiful Harbor cruise during my regional sales meetings last week and this was by far the most fun evening you could ask for.
